Description
We are a warm, busy family based in Otatara, Invercargill, looking for a caring and reliable part-time nanny to support our two children, aged 3 and 5.
This role operates on a two-week rotating roster due to school hours and occasional work travel. Approx. 21.5 hours per fortnight, with the potential for extra hours during school holidays or travel periods.
Hours Week 1
- Wednesday: 2:30pm – 8:30pm
- Thursday: 2:30pm – 6:00pm
Week 2
- Wednesday: 2:30pm – 6:00pm
- Thursday: 6:45am – 9:15am and 2:30pm – 6:00pm
- Friday: 6:45am – 9:15am
Responsibilities
- School and preschool drop-offs and pick-ups
- Transporting children to activities
- Preparing healthy meals and snacks
- Helping with homework or age-appropriate play
- Providing a safe, nurturing environment
Requirements
- Own reliable vehicle
- Full NZ driver’s licence
- Current First Aid certificate
- Previous nanny or childcare experience preferred
Pay
- $28 per hour
- Paid via wages, fortnightly
