As an Area Manager you will lead a group of centres across the Auckland region taking a hands on people centred approach to leadership. Your work will span:

• Supporting curriculum achievement teaching and learning and centre performance
• Ensuring excellence in health & safety and quality assurance
• Facilitating workshops and leading improvement initiatives
• Providing licensing support and sector guidance
• Coaching mentoring and empowering Centre Managers to deliver outstanding outcomes for tamariki

You will thrive in this role if you bring:

• Broad ECE leadership experience and a deep understanding of the New Zealand ECE sector
• Strong relationships with key sector stakeholders including MoE and ERO and confidence navigating review processes
• Flexibility to travel within the North Island to support centres where needed
• Curiosity confidence and the ability to build strong influential relationships
• Proven capability in coaching motivating and developing others
• Sound business acumen strong decision making skills and a collaborative leadership style
