We are looking for a Qualified Teacher to join our Keas room (2-3.5 year olds) at Bear Park Remuera. Working with this age group is engaging, rewarding and fun! With ratios of at least 1:7 we allow our teachers the ability to engage in intentional and meaningful learning opportunities with small groups.
From our spacious outdoor areas to our central piazza, we’ve created an environment that is natural, transparent and inspiring for all. We focus on the many expressive languages that children use and develop throughout their early years, with our performing arts room and central and classroom ateliers encouraging children to engage in the art of dance, drama, music, art and more.
At Bear Park we are committed to providing inspiring professional development, including paid in-service sessions held every 2 months, where all of Bear Park comes together to connect and enrich our practice. We also offer opportunities to attend external workshops and conferences, supporting our teachers to be the best they can be. With 3 hours of dedicated group planning time per room, per week, we deliver incredible, individualised programmes for each of the children in our care.
With inspiration from Reggio Emilia, our teachers have a passion for inspiring wonder, creativity, imagination and investigation, fostering children's hundred languages and unravelling their theories alongside them.
