About the Role
Are you a passionate, nurturing leader who thrives on supporting our youngest learners as they take their very first steps in the world? BestStart St Lukes is searching for a dedicated Head Teacher to lead our Infants Room - someone with a heart for babies and a passion for creating meaningful, responsive care and learning experiences.

Located right across from Westfield St Lukes, we're conveniently close to shops and great food options for those after-work errands!
Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week, Monday–Friday)
We're seeking an experienced, confident kaiako who:
- Has a passion for working with infants, providing calm, respectful, and responsive care.
- Is an experienced Head Teacher ready to continue their leadership journey.
- Demonstrates strong skills in curriculum design, planning, and assessment.
- Builds genuine, trusting relationships with whānau and colleagues.
- Leads with empathy, warmth, and professionalism, inspiring others to do the same.
- B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and current Teacher Certification
- Good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
