The Role: We are looking for an experienced Unqualified Early Childhood Teacher, or ECE Teacher in Training, to join our team at Bear Park Epsom. With expansive outdoor areas, great ratios and an experienced team, this a is a great position in a central location. We are able to accommodate our new teacher in either our Under Twos or Over Three year old rooms.
With fantastic ratios and 3 hours dedicated planning time per room, per week (during centre hours), we offer you the ability to build intentional and meaningful moments with our children. We have high-quality resources and a warm, engaging and natural space. Our experienced Centre Director is hands-on, working on the floor alongside our teaching teams to support excellent teaching practice and meaningful relationships with teachers and children.
With inspiration from Reggio Emilia, our teachers have a passion for inspiring wonder, creativity, imagination and investigation, fostering children's hundred languages and unravelling their theories alongside them. We build strong connections with our children and their families, and value the important role we play in our children's lives.
To be our new teacher you will have:
- Ability to build trusting, engaging and supportive relationships with children and colleagues.
- Experience working in an ECE centre.
- Knowledge of the Reggio Emilia teaching philosophy.
- Compassion and patience.
- A deep love for working with children and all that it brings.
