About the Role
In this role, you'll work in a vibrant, child-led environment where tamariki are encouraged to explore, discover, and grow. As a caregiver at BestStart, you'll play a meaningful role in shaping the early learning experiences of our tamariki. Our centre is known for its warm, family like atmosphere, collaborative team culture, and commitment to high quality care. You'll be supported by a dedicated Centre Manager and a close knit team of teachers who value creativity, curiosity, and connection.

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week on a rotating roster.
We're looking for someone who:
- Brings positive energy and a genuine love for working with young children
- Has a natural affinity with children, and experience working with children 0 - 5 years old
- Can confidently write learning stories and contribute to documenting children's learning
- Is adaptable and happy to help wherever needed
- Enjoys being part of a team and contributes to centre compliance and daily routines
What You'll Do Each Day
- Provide exceptional care and education to our tamariki
- Champion teamwork and engage in meaningful, fun learning experiences
- Participate across all classrooms and help cover staff breaks
- Support centre operations at all levels, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment
