About the Role
We're seeking someone who takes pride in being dependable and welcoming. As our Van Driver, you'll be the first friendly face our tamariki see each morning - helping set them up for a positive, calm start to their day. This role focuses on safe transport, strong relationships, and contributing to a supportive centre community.
Hours: Morning run: 7:00am – 11:00am Opportunities for additional afternoon hours may be available, depending on centre needs.
What You'll Do
- Safely transport children to and from the centre following scheduled routes
- Build warm, positive relationships with children and whānau
- Ensure the van is clean, well maintained, and safe
- Follow all health, safety, and compliance requirements
What We're Looking For
- Full NZ driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Strong communication and people skills
- Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
- A caring, child-focused attitude
