We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic ECE Teaching Assistant to join our team on a permanent basis working 23.5 hours over 3 days.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is passionate about creating inspiring learning spaces for tamariki to grow
• Is willing to learn and is keen to build a career in early childhood education
• Can build strong and lasting relationships with tamariki, whānau and the wider community

• Enjoy assisting with planning and implementing a child-led, play based curriculum
• Thrive in a team environment where innovation, connection and equity are encouraged
• Be committed to Te Tiriti based practice, Te Reo and Tikanga Māori or a willingness to grow in this space
• Be willing to learn about Te Whāriki and build strong teaching practice qualities for children’s learning.

Mō mātou | About us Waiapu Kids St Marys Tahatai Preschool is part of Anglican Care Waiapu (ACW) - the social services arm of Anglican Diocese of Waiapu. ACW provides faith-based services to children, young people families/whānau and older people throughout Bay of Plenty, Tairāwhiti, Hawke’s Bay, and Tararua. The successful applicant will foster an environment that reflects the values and purpose of ACW.
