Prebbleton Nursery is seeking a certificated ECE teacher to join our passionate team in our Toddler Room (20 months - 3 years). This is a permanent role for approximately 34-36 hours per week.
We pride ourselves on our low ratios (1:3/4 in the Infant Room, 1:5/6 in the Toddler Room), allowing us to provide the responsive, respectful care that our tamariki deserve. As a family-owned centre with 25 years of service in the Prebbleton community, we live by our motto: “The next best place to home.”
Our environments have a natural home like feel and our pet guinea pigs are an important part of our curriculum. We are inspired by the RIE/Pikler philosophy, and we’re looking for someone who shares that same respectful and relational approach to early childhood education.

- Be able to build strong relationships with children and families.
- Be a good communicator working effectively in a team.
- Have a good sense of humour and not afraid of a laugh!
- Engage in planning, assessment and internal evaluation.
- Be reliable and flexible to work a range of hours as required.
