About the Role
We are seeking a nurturing Teacher-in-Training (Year 1–2) to join our Ōtākaro preschool room, supporting tamariki aged 2–3.5 years.
This is a permanent role, 27.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with the possibility of increased hours in the future.

Role Requirements
We are looking for someone who is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners. You will bring:
- Enrolment in a Level 7 ECE Bachelor programme (Year 1 or 2)
- Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in daily practice
- Understanding of child-led curriculum and planning
- Knowledge of ECE Regulations and Te Whāriki
- Passion for high-quality teaching and learning
