About the Role

We're seeking someone who is:

  • Currently enrolled in a Level 7 ECE Bachelor programme (ideally in Year 1 or 2)
  • Passionate about teaching young children and committed to their learning journey

This is a permanent, 30‑hour‑per‑week position, Monday to Friday, working in our Kiwi Room (2–3 years).

Our Kiwi Room is a vibrant, play‑based environment where independence, communication, and curiosity are nurtured every day. We follow children's interests, offering purposeful learning experiences that support their growth. With a dedicated sleep room and strong collaboration with whānau, we ensure routines at the centre reflect the rhythms of home.

You'll be a great fit if you:

  • Are enrolled in a Level 7 ECE Bachelor programme
  • Understand child‑led curriculum and can extend children's learning through thoughtful planning
  • Have sound knowledge of ECE Regulations, Te Whāriki, and value compliance
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • Bring passion, professionalism, and a drive to deliver high‑quality teaching
