About the Role
We are looking for a warm, reliable, and motivated Caregiver to join our Koru (infant) room. As a Caregiver at BestStart, you will play an important role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where tamariki can learn, explore, and grow. Working alongside our Centre Manager and a dedicated teaching team, you will support high-quality care and education while helping with the day-to-day running of the centre.
This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing high-quality care and education to our tamariki
- Building strong, respectful relationships with children, whānau, and colleagues
- Supporting learning through engaging activities that extend and empower tamariki
- Assisting across classrooms and covering staff breaks when needed
- Supporting centre operations and contributing positively to team culture
- Completing basic documentation requirements
