Description
Whanganui and surrounds.
Achieving better outcomes for children speaks to you. Your heart will be in it and the remuneration is a bonus.
Casual contract. No guarantee of work but our team is usually kept as busy as they want to be. You'll be supported by our highly reputable service. Each supervised contact is usually around 2hrs. You chose but weekends, weekdays after school are generally when families are available, but also some during school hours.
These children need you to be:
- Skilled and experienced working with children and ECE or similarly qualified. ECE approaches work well with children of all adults and their families.
- Able to manage difficult adult behaviour.
- Proficient with word, email, smartphone and have a vehicle.
- Professional, impartial and child focused.
- Receptive to feedback and a life long learner.
- First Aid certified or willing to get certified yourself
- Willing to undergo child protection protocols, including a brief online child protection course (if haven't already completed one).
