An exciting opportunity has come about for a Team Leader to join our team
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher to lead our 2-3.5 year old room. Our sustainability-focused preschool has large outdoor spaces with an orchard, animals, bee hives, a worm farm, and vegetable gardens. Our philosophy centers on fostering a warm, welcoming environment where children can explore and grow at their own pace, with a focus on people, belonging, and relationships.
As Head Teacher, you will mentor your team, ensure compliance, and live a child-led, nature play-based program. If you're dedicated to making a positive impact on children and families, we'd love to hear from you.

Role requirements:
We're looking for a natural leader who shares our values and vision and who has a good understanding of programme planning and assessment as well as a drive and passion for growth. As well as:
- B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 and current teacher registration/certification
- An understanding of programme planning, pedagogy, and curriculum
- Good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
- Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
