Your role in the Tūī Room
You will be based in the Tūī (Infant and Toddler) Room, which includes a Pēpi nest for non-mobile babies to support key early milestones. Tamariki have access to a large outdoor area with adaptable equipment, and as they grow, they can explore the wider room's sensory experiences — all while their individual needs and routines are met with manaakitanga and whanaungatanga.
Located in the heart of Stokes Valley, our centre is surrounded by everything that makes community strong — the library, pool, local shops, supermarket, and Koraunui Community Hub. About the Role
- Permanent 40-hour, Monday–Friday position
- Open to newly qualified and experienced teachers

We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a BEd/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) + current certification
- Understands child-led curriculum and planning
- Has strong knowledge of ECE regs, Te Whāriki, and compliance
- Shows commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Brings passion, creativity, and a love of quality teaching
