Education Manager
~32 hours per week | Auckland | Education & community focused role
Brain Play is looking for a warm, organised, and community-minded Education Manager to play a central role in the coordination, communication, and growth of our programmes across New Zealand.
This role sits at the heart of our organisation; supporting whānau, schools, community partners, tutors, events, and internal systems to help ensure our programmes run smoothly and our learners feel supported every step of the way.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, improving systems, communicating with people, solving problems calmly, and helping a growing organisation stay connected and organised behind the scenes.
About Brain Play
We’re a passionate & creative team delivering hands-on STEM learning experiences across Aotearoa.
What began as after-school coding classes in Auckland has grown into nationwide programmes covering coding, robotics, electronics, 3D design and printing, science, Minecraft, and creative technology.
We now work across after-school programmes, holiday workshops, schools, community events, and neurodivergent 1:1 support programmes.
Over the past year we’ve expanded beyond Auckland into Hamilton, Wellington, and Christchurch, and we’re excited to continue strengthening our community connections and impact across New Zealand.
Our goal is to create environments where tamariki feel safe, supported, capable, and excited to explore new ideas.

- Warm, professional communication with families and stakeholders
- Someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people and building relationships
- Confidence working independently and taking ownership of tasks
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Calm, adaptable, and positive under pressure
- Someone who naturally notices ways things could run better and is willing to own improvements
- Alignment with our values around inclusion, curiosity, growth, and community
- Full driver licence and access to a reliable private vehicle
