Are you a dynamic educator? We currently have two positions to fill. We need a suitable educator to teach the Zero Waste Education programme in the following areas;
- primary and intermediate schools in Eastern Bay of Plenty areas. This includes urban and rural schools.
- ECEs in Tauranga, Western Bay of Plenty, Matamata-Piako and South Waikato
A passionate understanding of the environment and waste is desirable. This is not a fulltime position. There are approximately 40 schools and over 100 ECEs involved in the programme in these districts.
You would need a reliable vehicle and be available for an interview from March 2026. Ideally full training would commence a few weeks later.
Classroom or teaching experiences is preferred. The ability to educate in te reo Māori is an advantage, but not a requirement.
