After School Care Team Leader

Game-Based Programme | 12–20 Hours per Week | Ashburton

We are seeking an enthusiastic and confident After School Care Team Leader to join our dynamic, game-based programme in Ashburton. This is a hands-on leadership role working with school-aged children in a fun, active and structured after-school environment. Additional hours are available during school holidays.

About the Role

• 12–20 hours per week during school term
• 4 or 5 day roster options available
• Additional hours available during school holidays
• Lead and facilitate structured group games and activities
• Supervise children in a safe, inclusive environment
• Support positive behaviour and social development
• Assist with planning and delivering holiday programme activities

Skills & Experience

• Experience working with school-aged children (OSCAR experience advantageous)
• Confident leading and managing groups
• Energetic, organised and reliable
• Strong communication skills
• Safety-focused with good judgement
• First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Full driver’s licence preferred
