Description
We are looking for a full-time Speech Language Therapist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary therapy team, who are committed to providing an outstanding therapy service to our ORS-funded students. This position is for 6 months from the start date of 16 February 2026, for 5 days per week. We seek a Speech Language Therapist who is collaborative and knowledgeable about communication, particularly AAC. Experience in paediatric dysphagia and sensory eating needs would be helpful. The successful applicant will be part of a team focused on working alongside students, teaching teams, and whānau to enable students to develop effective communication skills. Ferndale Te Ahu School is committed to providing opportunities for therapists, including professional learning and development, supervision, and flexible working hours. Applicants are required to have completed the Bachelor of Speech and Language Pathology or an equivalent qualification and be eligible for membership with NZSTA.
