Are you a dynamic educator? We need a suitable educator to teach the Zero Waste Education programme in primary and intermediate schools in the Manawatu, Rangitiketi, Tararua and Whanganui areas. This includes urban and rural schools.
A passionate understanding of the environment and waste is desirable. This is not a fulltime position. There are approximately 70 schools involved in the programme in these districts.
You would need a reliable vehicle and be available for an interview from late December 2025 -January 2026. Ideally full training would commence a few weeks later you would start in Term 1, 2026.
Classroom or teaching experiences is preferred. The ability to educate in te reo Māori is an advantage, but not a requirement.
