Description

An experienced Technology Technician is required for our Technology (Hard Materials) department at Te Aratai College. This position is permanent and for 12 weekly hours, term time only. Remuneration is based on the NZEI SSSCA and between $30 - $35 per hour.

Key Tasks include: Carry out maintenance, repairs, and servicing of all resources, including equipment and machinery Empty the extraction unit as needed Assist with the setup, operation, and pack-down of teaching workrooms Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop spaces to a high standard Follow all health and safety procedures and support a safe working environment Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs Support staff and projects as required with technical expertise Identify and report hazards promptly Help prepare materials for ākonga projects.
