The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our clients team in the Manawatu region. This is a permanent, full-time, office-based role suited to someone who enjoys detail, commercial decision-making, and working closely with both internal teams and clients.
You will play a critical role in ensuring estimates are accurate, competitive, and aligned with client expectations and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Review estimates for accuracy and cost competitiveness
- Use V6 estimating software confidently and effectively
- Understand client requirements, scope, and budget constraints
- Follow up with clients to review pricing competitiveness and outcomes
- Apply strong knowledge of window construction and manufacturing
- Understand window installation, particularly within renovation projects
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to support successful project delivery
About You
- Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator (preferably within construction or manufacturing)
- Strong understanding of window construction and installation
- Confident using V6 software
- Detail-oriented with strong commercial awareness
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
- Qualifications in Construction (Carpentry or Builder) and/or Window Manufacturing are preferred
- Positive attitude
- Strong work ethic
- Honesty and integrity
- NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident
- No criminal history
- Full, clean NZ Drivers Licence
