We’re looking for Scaffolders in the Taupo area to join a hardworking, safety-first crew delivering top-quality work across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Whether you're a ticketed scaffolder, have solid hands-on experience, or you're someone who’s worked in construction and wants to break into the scaffolding trade, we want to hear from you!
About the Role Join an established team working across the Taupo region. You'll help erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding systems for a wide range of sites. This role is fast-paced, physical, and perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, enjoys variety, and has a strong team ethic. No two days are the same—and you’ll always be learning.
Your Day-To-Day Duties
- Erect, secure, and inspect scaffolding structures
- Work with tube & clip, ringlock, or other modular systems
- Assist with dismantling scaffolds safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, and organise scaffolding gear
- Read and follow instructions or site plans
- Maintain a tidy, safe work environment
- Work closely with your crew to keep projects moving
Experienced scaffolders may also help oversee work areas, guide junior staff, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Who We’re Looking For We are open to all levels—from competent labourers wanting to step up, to experienced scaffolders looking for consistent work.
Ideal Candidates Will Bring: ? Prior scaffolding experience (ticketed or unticketed) OR experience in construction/trades ? Physically fit and confident working at height ? Ability to use basic hand tools ? A positive attitude and willingness to learn ? Strong focus on safety and teamwork ? Reliability—you turn up and get the job done If you’ve worked with scaffolding gear before, even in a labourer capacity, that’s a big plus.

Location Taupo & surrounding areas You’ll need reliable transport to get to various sites.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be drug-free (testing required)
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transport
- Site Safe or similar qualifications are beneficial but not essential
