Civil Engineers – Multiple Locations

Cook Costello is a New Zealand multi-disciplinary Engineering Consultancy delivering Civil, Geotechnical, Structural and Geophysics Engineering services across a diverse range of land development and infrastructure projects. With established offices in Auckland, Whangārei, Christchurch and Wellington, and continued project demand, we are growing our Civil Engineering capability across all regions.

We are seeking Civil Engineers at Graduate, Intermediate and Senior levels to join our expanding team. Whether you are developing your career, expanding your project responsibility, or bringing established leadership and client relationships, we welcome your interest.

The Role You will be involved in a broad range of civil engineering projects including:

• Land development and subdivision design
• Stormwater, wastewater and water supply infrastructure
• Earthworks and roading design
• Construction monitoring and contract administration
• Client, contractor and council liaison

Your level of responsibility will reflect your experience, from supporting project delivery and developing technical capability, through to leading projects, reviewing designs, mentoring engineers and contributing to business development.

About You You will ideally have:

• BEng (Civil) or equivalent qualification
• Experience in civil design within a consultancy environment
• Understanding of NZ standards and local authority processes
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• A practical, solutions-focused approach

For Senior Engineers, CPEng (or working towards) and experience leading client relationships, mentoring others and contributing to workload development will be highly regarded.
