Site Engineer - Auckland

Joining the National Projects team means being part of a high-performing group delivering landmark infrastructure across New Zealand. Our Site Engineers play a key role on complex projects, with strong support, development opportunities, and real scope to progress your career. We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join our team in the Auckland region.

This is a permanent full-time job ($90,000 - $100,000 per annum) based on skills and experience, and guaranteed min 40 hours per week)

What you'll be doing:

• Support delivery of civil construction works across utilities, drainage, earthworks, pavements
• Lead day-to-day site coordination and engage directly with crews, subcontractors and clients
• Develop and manage Inspection & Test Plans, quality checks and compliance documentation
• Support safe work planning, environmental compliance and promote a zero-harm culture
• Assist with programming, forecasting and cost-control activities as part of project delivery
• Help prepare project reporting, close-out documentation and quality submissions

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant academic background in Civil Engineering or a related field (degree or diploma)
• Proven experience in a Site Engineer role within the heavy civil / construction industry
• Able to provide technical support the Project Engineers and Project Managers
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
