Higgins Bay of Plenty has secured an exciting new contract - NZTA's Integrated Delivery Contract (IDC) for the region. Our team is growing, and we're looking for a Renewals Engineer to join the team.
This long-term contract focuses on the safe, reliable, and sustainable delivery of maintenance, renewals, and safety improvements across the network from Waihi and Tauranga to Rotorua and Opotiki. You'll be responsible for the delivery of the Pavement and Surfacing Renewals Programme and specific variation projects across the network.

What you'll bring to the role:
- Solid background in Civil Engineering, with proven experience managing medium-sized projects
- Prior experience scoping, planning and programming renewals work
- A good understanding of properties of roading aggregates
- Understanding of the technical, contractual and financial requirements involved in maintenance contracts
- Proficiency in RAMM is essential
- Understanding of the Construction Contracts Act and knows how to apply NZS 3910 & NZS 3917
- Strong communication and ability to build and maintain relationships
- Bachelor of Engineering or other relevant Tertiary qualifications desired
