Description

LDE is a forward-thinking and well-resourced engineering company. We are seeking a Chartered Civil Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to autonomously manage clients and projects through inception, design and delivery, with support from our local and national resources.

This role is the technical lead for the Bay of Plenty region, giving support to the local team while being an integral member of the national team. You will have the tools and autonomy to make this role your own and genuinely contribute to your own future.

You will have the confidence and capability to work autonomously while contributing to the success of civil teams across all our offices and help continue growing our presence in the Bay of Plenty.

Work will involve civil design, leadership and reviews on a variety of projects, including but not limited to:

  • Small to large residential, commercial and industrial development.
  • Roading and pavement design
  • Three waters engineering
  • Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD)
  • Construction management and verification.
  • Retaining wall and MSE wall design
  • Coastal and marine structures.

The technical competencies for this position are:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
  • CPEng (those in the CPEng application process may be considered)
  • 7+ years of experience including time spent in a consultancy environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft products
  • Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D modelling (preferred)
  • Experience in leading and building a team.
