Estimator – Heavy Engineering / Steel
Ready to step into a fast-moving estimating role where your work directly keeps projects flowing? We’re looking for an Estimator to join our client's busy Ashhurst based engineering and steel fabrication environment, focusing on the day-to-day quoting engine of the business.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing accurate quotes for fabrication and engineering jobs ($1k–$100k)
- Working closely with a Senior Estimator and operations team
- Managing multiple deadlines and keeping the quote pipeline moving
- Building labour, materials and subcontract pricing using an Excel-based system
What we’re looking for:
- Estimating experience (ideally within steel, fabrication or engineering)
- Strong Excel skills, ERP software and attention to detail
- Someone organised, practical and comfortable in a fast-paced workflow
