We are seeking an person with engineering and design experience and 2D and 3D CAD experience for our busy office in Palmerston North. The role is full time and you will become part of our farm buildings design team. Redpath Pacific ltd is a long standing commercial greenhouse and animal shelter buildings manufacturing business and this role oversees building development and design, manages building jobs with council as they proceed through the stages of building consent and engineering. The role is required to produce the 2D and 3d CAD drawings for our buildings as well as producing the check-lists for the parts that need to be manufactured and packed. The position works as a close liaison with our building crews and our customers around New Zealand. A high level of understanding is required in both 2D and 3D CAD and Excel. Visual Basic programing skills would be an advantage. A good understanding of design and production methods, ability to work within a team atmosphere, problem solve, Punctuality and attendance is also important. The role is an in-office role, 8am-5pm, weekdays.
