About the Role
Athenry Electrical is seeking an experienced and skilled Registered Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, customer-focused, and have excellent attention to detail.
Key Requirements:
- Registered with a current practicing license
- Relevant licensing endorsements. I.e. Supervision, Hazardous Area, Parallel Generation, Medical, etc
- Minimum 5 years’ industrial electrical experience (within New Zealand is preferred)
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality work, ensuring all electrical standards are met
Health & Safety Competencies:
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
- Working at height
- Confined space entry
- Permit receiving and hazard identification
Training and ongoing refresher courses are provided as required.
Desirable Competencies:
- Hazardous areas (Endorsed Preferable)
- Supervision (Endorsed Preferable)
- Functional machine safety
- Process and machine control
- CAD and PLC
