Electrical Dairy Technician, Field-Based Role
Permanent Job Located: Rangiora Start Now
We’re looking for a fully licensed electrician who enjoys hands-on, varied work in the field. This role involves electrical fault-finding plus servicing and repair of milking machines, pumps, and dairy farm equipment.
Key duties include:
- Install, service, and repair milking machines and dairy equipment
- Electrical fault-finding, repairs, and installations (LV/standard voltage)
- Servicing, testing, and compliance checks (training provided)
- Mechanical repairs including pumps, motors, welding, and fabrication
- On-farm troubleshooting and customer support
- Mentor and support an Electrical Technician working toward registration
Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm, with some flexibility during seasonal peaks. On-call roster every 10 -12 weeks.
You must have:
- Full EWRB electrical licence
- Hands-on, practical approach
- NZ work rights and local availability
