Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to grow your career as a Distribution Line Mechanic within our great team based in Matamata. You will be responsible for the provision of quality service and workmanship in the areas of construction, maintenance and fault diagnosis/rectification of all network equipment and installations. You will also be responsible for identifying, and implementing risk control measures to assigned work tasks, in order to provide a safe work environment.

It is essential that you are an experienced Distribution Line Mechanic with knowledge of the power industry and can offer the following:
Essential
- Relevant EWRB Line Mechanic Registration and current practising licence
- NZQF Level 4 qualification
- Current Class 1 driver's licence (car)
- Sound knowledge of the Safety Manual Electricity Industry (SMEI) and Safe practices for Low Voltage Electrical Work
Desirable
- Class 2 licence
- 2 Years Post Qualification experience
- Faults Experience
- Powerco competencies
