CNC Machinist / CAD–CAM Programmer Machine Makers – Auckland

Machine Makers is a modern 5‑axis CNC machine shop with an in‑house fabrication division. We specialise in bespoke, high‑precision components and short‑run production work—so the projects are always varied, challenging, and genuinely interesting.

Our workshop is equipped with the latest CNC technology, including:

• 5‑axis milling machines
• 4‑axis milling machines
• Y‑axis live‑tooling lathes
• Twin‑spindle lathe
• CMM Metrology Lab
• Manual Lathe and Mill
• A full range of fabrication and general workshop equipment.

We’re a small, skilled team of seven, and each machinist has their own workstation and their own Fusion 360 licence for CAD/CAM programming.

What we’re looking for: A bright, capable person who enjoys solving problems, learning new skills, and working on unique parts.

Skills & Experience

• Extensive 5-Axis machining experience
• Working to tight tolerances
• CAM programming in Fusion 360 (or similar) Training provided for the right person
• Lathe turning experience (advantage but not essential)
• CMM experience(advantage but not essential)
