Title: Welder & Installer – Experienced, Full-Time (45 hrs)
Location: Hillsborough, Christchurch.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (45 hours/week)
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Welder & Installer to join our busy workshop, but it will mainly be onsite for this role. This role involves working in a team, contributing hands-on welding expertise, and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Welding to a high standard (MIG/TIG/ARC)
Work at heights and operate Elevated Work Platforms (EWP) safely
Apply general knowledge of industrial and structural engineering
Read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications
Oversee and coordinate workshop activities as required
Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience
At least 2-3 References required
Class 2 license preferred
Knowledge of industrial and structural engineering practices
Welding tickets highly preferred
Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand (no sponsorship offered)

Confident with woodwork and sheet metal work

Confident with repairs and maintenance tasks
