We’re on the lookout for a skilled MIG Welder to join a busy production workshop in Hastings. If you’re a tidy welder who can hit the ground running and handle full days on the tools, this is a solid opportunity with long hours and consistent work.

Location: Hastings, Hawke’s Bay Start date: Immediate start Pay rate: $32–$35 per hour (paid weekly)

About the role: This is a hands-on production welding role working with mild steel and heavier gauge materials. You’ll be welding all day in a fast-paced environment, focusing on durability and consistency rather than one-off fabrication jobs.

Key duties include:

• MIG welding in a production environment
• Working with mild steel and heavier gauge materials
• Producing clean, tidy, and consistent welds
• Maintaining workflow and output across long shifts
• Working unsupervised to meet production expectations

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience with MIG welding in a production or fabrication environment
• Ability to produce clean, consistent welds to a high standard
• Comfortable working unsupervised and maintaining output
• Physically fit and able to handle long days on the tools
• Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in workmanship
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Clean Ministry of Justice (MOJ) record
