C.N.C. Profile Cutting Services Limited is a New Zealand owned and operated company with more than twenty years experience in the cutting industry. Leading the way in New Zealand’s steel market, CNC Profile Cutting Services with its innovative vision has now become the country’s largest and most efficient plate processing plant.
We are looking for a full time Team Leader / Laser Operator to run and manage our Laser cutting machines.
This position requires you to be reasonably fit (lifting and standing) Must have a good attitude towards learning and a good work ethic. Must be reliable and on time. Computer skills are necessary in order to use the software with proficiency and confidence for those applying for the machine operator / team leader positions.
Full on the job training will be given to the right applicant.
A brief job description:
TEAM LEADER / MACHINE OPERATOR:
- Run programmed nest to cut, drill and tap, bevel profiles from steel plate
- Checking quality is to a high standard and correct throughout cutting process
- Load/unload beds with steel plates
- Check material thickness and grade is correct for plate being cut
- Grinding of parts where required
- Stacking pallets of cut profiles when necessary
- Completing paperwork
- Team leader, organising laser staff and planning the day efficiently
