This is a hands-on role that includes operating our press brake. You’ll be working across various parts of the production process, so no two days are the same. We’re looking for someone who’s practical, eager to learn, and ready to be part of a team that values quality and efficiency. Full on the job training will be given to the right candidate.
This is a possible role for trainee operator too. We are keen to train the right applicant for the job. Happy to have online meetings if you are not located in Hawke's Bay too.

This job is based in Hastings.
Hours are to be discussed for the right candidate. Possibility of Day and Night Shift position available.

Duties Include:
- Machine Operation - setting up and operating press brake machines
- Forming/bending - precisely bending sheet metal to create various shapes and angles according to specifications
- Reading Drawings - Interpreting drawings to understand the required dimensions and tolerances
- Tooling Selection - Choosing the appropriate tools and dies for specific bending operations
- Quality Control - Ensuring accuracy and quality of the bent parts by performing visual inspections and measurements
