Avon Industries Ltd is a privately owned company situated in Kamo Whangarei and is Northlands only all in one Production Engineering, Blasting, Painting & Galvanizing facility.
We are currently looking for a CNC machinist/Toolmaker for a full time position in our engineering shop.
We are looking for applicants with the following experience:
. Trade Qualified or several years' experience in a machine shop. . Must be versatile in the application of their skills with a strong problem-solving ability. . Preference will be given to those with experience working within a production environment. . Applicants need to be self motivated, work safely and ensure safe work practices are carried out . Preference will be given to those with previous CNC machining experience.
Duties will include Machining, forging setup, press setup, toolmaking, die maintenance and machinery maintenance amongst other duties as directed.
This is a full time permanent position of 40 hours per week of work and applicants will need to be reliable with a good work ethic and should have NZ residency or hold a valid NZ work visa.
