The Role We are seeking a qualified Dual Trade Instrument Technician and Electrician to join our operations team. This is a hands-on role working across installation, maintenance, fault-finding, and calibration of electrical and instrumentation systems in an industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems
- Perform calibration and testing of instruments and control systems
- Diagnose and repair faults in complex electrical and instrumentation equipment
- Work from technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
- Participate in preventative maintenance programs
- Collaborate with the wider team to deliver projects on time and to spec
About You
- Current NZ Electrical Registration (with a valid practising licence)
- Instrumentation qualification
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or process plant environments preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams
- Commitment to safe work practices and high-quality standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
