Welders Wanted
We’re on the lookout for experienced and versatile welders to join our team in Hamilton. If you’ve got solid skills across multiple welding types and enjoy a mix of workshop and on-site work, we want to hear from you. With a variety of projects across the Waikato region, this is a great opportunity to put your skills to work and stay busy.
Location: Hamilton and greater Waikato
Start date: Immediate start
Pay rate: $30–$34 per hour (weekly pay)
What you’ll be doing:
- MIG, TIG, and stick welding across a range of materials
- Fabrication of structural steel, frames, and components
- Pipe welding and high-precision welding where required
- Reading and interpreting plans and technical drawings
- Workshop-based fabrication and on-site installation work
- Maintenance and repair welding on plant and equipment
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in MIG, TIG, Stick welding, fabrication, or boilermaking
- Ability to read and work from plans confidently
- Background in structural, pipe, or production welding environments
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Relevant certifications (welding tickets, Site Safe, etc.) are advantageous
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must have the right to work in New Zealand
