We're seeking an experienced Welder / Line Boring Technician to join a skilled team working across the West Coast. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants strong hourly rates, variety in their work, and the chance to step into a stable, ongoing position. We are open to applicants from across New Zealand who are willing to relocate for the right opportunity.
About The Role You'll be working across both workshop and field environments supporting heavy machinery repairs, fabrication, and line boring on a range of civil and industrial equipment. No two days are the same — this is hands-on, practical work where your experience really counts.
Wages $35 - $60 per hour (depending on experience) Location West Coast (relocation support/open to nationwide applicants)

What You Will Be Doing
- Welding and fabrication on heavy equipment and structural repairs
- Line boring on machinery and plant
- On-site breakdown repairs and maintenance
- Reading and working from technical drawings
- Ensuring high safety and quality standards
- Working independently and within a small team
What We Require
- Proven welding and line boring experience
- Experience with heavy machinery / civil / construction plant
- Ability to work in remote and demanding environments
- Trade qualification preferred but not essential
- Strong safety focus and attention to detail
- Full NZ driver's licence
- Valid Site Safe or Construct Safe (we can assist)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
