We’re looking for an experienced leader to manage a team of maintenance technicians in a high-tech site. About the Role You will take ownership of the day-to-day maintenance activities, ensuring smooth operations and mentoring, leading, and guiding a solid team of professionals. This role is a 50/50 mix of mechanical and electrical maintenance, so versatility is key.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of 4 maintenance technicians
- Oversee mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery, ensuring minimal downtime
- Support, lead and train team members
- Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards
- Work with advanced systems and technology in a modern facility
What We’re Looking For
- Trade or qualification in Mechanical or Electrical.
- Full EWRB Electrical Licence – essential for machinery access
- Strong leadership skills with at least 2 years in a management role
- 5 years+ experience in both mechanical and electrical maintenance
- Proficiency with computer systems, programming, and instrumentation
- Being based in NZ with full working rights is essential
