What you offer:
- Experience in installations, repairs and maintenance of industrial manufacturing equipment, preferably primary food processing industry
- Experience in fault finding on hydraulic, pneumatic and complex mechanical systems
- Experience in breakdown as well as preventive maintenance theory
- Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships, communicate and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders
- Proven skills in the areas of attention to detail, information processing and problem solving with the ability to multitask
- Ability to identify and introduce improvements in maintenance practices and plant performance
- Routine maintenance functions for the manufacturing facility
- Machine fault finding to ensure challenging production targets are met and ensure equipment optimisation
- Integral role in an ongoing preventative maintenance program (MEX)
- Working knowledge of WHS principles
- Production maintenance, fabrication, repair and close out of MEX requests will be a focus of this position
- Qualified in Mechanical / Industrial / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience
- Industrial Electrical trade qualification and electrical license EST A&B is advantageous
