Griffin Marine Services is recruiting skilled Boilermakers/Welders to join our expanding Australian operations, supporting major marine vessel repair, maintenance and fabrication projects commencing April onwards. The Role You will work on structural and mechanical marine repairs and fabrication, delivering high-quality workmanship in a safety-focused environment.

Key duties include:

  • Welding and fabrication on carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
  • Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
  • Performing a range of welding techniques
  • Inspecting welds to meet industry standards
  • Using workshop tools and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Working as part of a collaborative team

What We’re Looking For

  • Trade-qualified Boilermaker/Welder
  • Minimum 2 years’ industry experience
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work 40+ hours per week
  • Solid understanding of workplace safety practices
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills

Mandatory Requirements

  • Ability to hold and obtain an Australian National Police Clearance
  • Driver’s Licence
  • Successful candidates must complete a pre-employment medical including: drug and alcohol screening and audiometry.
