Shift details:
- Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (standard)
- Occasional afternoon shifts of 11:00 am - 7:00 pm (2-3 times per month)
- Some Saturdays, 11:00 am - 7:00 pm may be required
About the role: This is an approximate 50/50 split between maintenance and assembly duties.
Maintenance: You'll work alongside the lead maintenance technician, supporting all on-site maintenance requirements. Tasks are always carried out with a second person present, so reliability is very important. Responsibilities include:
- Servicing and repairing conveyor belts
- Replacing drives and fault-finding
- Maintaining electrical control cabinets
- Looking after machinery, including pneumatics and compressors
- General building and equipment upkeep
- Working across a range of electrical components
Assembly: During quieter maintenance periods, you'll move to the assembly line to complete basic assembly of large switchboard components.
What we're looking for:
- General manufacturing experience (required)
- Ideally, EWRB licence (highly advantageous but not a must)
- Reliable with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a flexible, fast-paced environment
- Solid work references
Compliance requirements:
- Pre-employment drug test
- Ministry of Justice check (DUIs considered if not recent; record must otherwise be clear)
- References required
