Maintenance Fitter

Pedersen Kawerau Limited is seeking to employ a suitable experienced and qualified Maintenance Fitter to join our operation at the Tasman Mill Kawerau.

The successful applicant for this position will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• Repair and maintenance of heavy industrial equipment, with exposure to timber processing plant an advantage
• Fabrication and welding skills
• Strong health and safety focus
• Reliable and able to work unsupervised
• Motivated and shows initiative

The hours of work are 4 on 4 off, 12-hour day shifts, and the appointee will be expected to work overtime on occasions.

Pedersen's operate a drug and alcohol-free workplace, and the successful applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test, prior to any position being offered.
