About the role: As a General/Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for the planned, preventative, maintenance, schedules & general maintenance of variety of plant & equipment. This role involves mild steel fabrication skills for the manufcature & installation of geenral metalwork/maintenance items i.e. machine guarding, steps, handrails etc. around machinery. In between maintenance works basic metalwork fabrication & installation will be required.
The successful applicants will possess experience in and a passion for:
Workplace safety Ability to diagnose machine faults & operation faults Problem solving mindset Able to carry out Planned, Preventative, Maintenance schedules (premade documents supplied) Happy to communicate with customers The ability to work through problems, provide solutions using creative thinking Welding skills
The successful applicant will need to be flexible from time to time within this role & able to work in other areas of the business in the commercial manufacturing & installation
