Mainland Engineering has a great industry reputation & we have multiple full-time positions available for our growing business. We are looking for -

• Welder / Fitter with experience / interested in technology with Cow Shed Maintenance or other experience that could cross over to this for our - Dairy Shed Maintenance Team
• General Engineer / Welder / Fitter for our - General Engineering Team
• Automotive Mechanic / Technician for our - Automotive Team

Mainland Engineering is in Taupo, where you would be based. A scenic playground and mecca for outdoor enthusiasts, adventure junkies and the like. We are a family owned business with 20 + staff and can offer plenty of opportunity for the right person to learn, grow and progress within our small team. We are passionate about what we do while striving to give the best service possible to our clients.

We have modern well-equipped workshops and do the following type of work-

• Agricultural & General Engineering/Maintenance
• Stainless Steel and Alloy Fabrication
• Structural steel Fabrication & Erecting
• Dairy Shed Milking Machine/Water/Effluent System work
• Dairy Shed Meal Feeding Systems & Backing Gates work
• General Automotive works

We are looking for people that have some of the following attributes or experience in -

• Welder / Fitter experience within Agricultural or Industrial industries
• Dairy Shed Milking Machine/Water/Effluent System work
• Knowledge & experience in Stainless Steel Fabrication
• Electrics / Pneumatics experience
• Good time management skills
• Great communication skills
• IT Literate
• Okay to get your hands dirty
• Happy to work extra hours at times
• Work in a safe manner either by yourself or in a team
• Perform given tasks to a tradesman like manner
• Willingness to learn and take on extra training where required
• Comply with health and safety standards
