About the Role: Location: Ormiston, Auckland Shift: Day Shift | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
What You'll Be Doing:
? Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and other workshop machines ? Manufacture, repair, and assemble components to precise specifications ? Interpret technical drawings and job requirements accurately ? Work across a range of projects in a busy engineering workshop ? Collaborate with a skilled team to deliver high-quality results
What We're Looking For:
? Trade Certification - NZQA Level 4 in Fitting & Turning (or equivalent) (advantageous) ? 3+ years' experience in a machining or fitting role ? Strong competency with manual lathes, milling machines, and measuring tools ? Excellent ability to read and interpret technical drawings ? High attention to detail and a strong focus on safety ? Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently or in a team
