Fitter Turner

Our client, a well-established engineering company based in Wiri, is seeking a skilled Fitter Turner to join their growing production team. This full-time, permanent role is based in a state-of-the-art facility and involves hands-on work manufacturing and modifying driveshafts for a wide range of industries.

About the Role:

  • Assemble, fit, and maintain mechanical systems and components
  • Operate manual lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other precision tools
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Carry out fault diagnosis and mechanical repairs
  • Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in mechanical fitting and manual machining
  • MIG welding experience is essential
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
  • Skilled in operating workshop machinery
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
